MEMBER GOLF & SOCIAL EVENTS

Taberna’s Men Golf Association (TMGA)

This group plays each Wednesday morning from the end of March through late October. Pairings are randomly made based on player’s handicaps and the format varies each week from individual events, two man teams and four man events. Open to all male golf members with a Taberna handicap. Annual membership to the TMGA is required.

Taberna’s Women's Golf Association (TWGA)

There are three separate groups of the TWGA. The Tuesday 18 Holers play on Tuesday mornings and use a variety of formats. The Tuesday 9 Holers group also plays on Tuesday mornings but is geared more towards those who are looking for a little more social atmosphere. The Saturday Ladies play 18 holes and is designed to include working women and those that are unavailable on Tuesdays. All female golf members with a Taberna handicap are eligible. Annual membership to the TWGA is required.

Friday Couples

Active in the late Spring to early Fall, this is a weekly social event that includes 9 holes of golf followed by dinner. A Taberna handicap is required to participate and the weekly teams are formed by lot. Open to all golf members, this is a great way to meet other golf members but on a more social level.

TABERNA TIGERSHARKS

Our Taberna Tigersharks Swim Team offers a unique learning experience for our swimmers up to age 18. Led by Coach Annette Williams and Assistant Coach Andrea Packard, the goal of the Taberna Tigersharks’ program is to have each child learn and progress in each of the swimming strokes while instilling the values of good sportsmanship as well as to develop new friendships. Our Tiny Tigersharks program is used as a stepping block for younger swimmers who may benefit from a group lesson environment until they are ready to compete with the Tigersharks Swim Team. Sign ups are held in Spring and swim practices are from late May to mid-July.

JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM

To encourage "future golfers", Junior Clinics and All Sport Camp Clinics are conducted at the club. Lessons on short game, full swing, etiquette and rules are available. All Sport Camps include golf, tennis, and swimming. We hope to provide a fun environment to develop good sportsmanship, patience and new friends.

SOCIAL EVENTS:

Our full service restaurant allows members to enjoy lunch and dinner Tues-Sun and also features many popular events. Whether it is summer lawn parties, our Easter Buffet and Easter Egg hunt, Prime Rib night, Kid's Halloween party or our spectacular New Year Eve's Five Course dinner and wine tasting -- There's someting for every member of the family to enjoy.
